This section of our site is intended as a hands-on introduction to using gold nanoparticles to label biomolecules. We will describe how gold nanoparticle labeling works and how it differs from colloidal gold, and show you how to calculate your labeling using the UV/visible spectra of the gold clusters and your gold conjugates.
