5nm Ni-NTA-Nanogold®

This simple, one-step kit adds His-tags to your recombinant proteins (or any particle), along with tightly bonded (but removable) Nanogold®-- at 5nm, you can take your sample straight to imaging under EM --with no silver or gold enhancement necessary. Also great under LM, and with columns and blots.

AuroVist™ II- 15 nm Gold Nanoparticles

With our newest gold nanoparticle X-ray contrast agent, gold concentrations of up to four times those of iodine can be achieved, providing a total contrast gain of up to ten times or more.

Unlike iodine, AuroVist™ has very low viscosity and osmolality, and therefore may be injected and used in small blood vessels without risk of vascular damage. A quantum leap forward for MicroCT and in vivo vascular casting.

EnzMet™

EnzMet™ (Enzyme Metallography) is a new biological labeling and staining method developed at Nanoprobes, which uses a targeted enzymatic probe with a novel metallographic substrate to provide a quantum leap in staining clarity over conventional chromogenic and fluorescent substrates for immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) applications. It has proven highly sensitive both for ISH, where it readily visualizes endogenous copies of single genes, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) detection. It has also been used as an electrical detection method for biochips.

GoldiBlot™

Goldiblot™ His Detection Kit is a rapid, sensitive alternative to enzymatic methods for the detection of recombinant His-tagged proteins on membrane blots such as immunoblots and westerns. It uses nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA)-nickel (II)-functionalized gold nanoparticles, which bind tightly and selectively to His tags, followed by metal enhancement for direct visualization.
