Driving Directions:

Regional directions to Stony Brook:

The closest airport to Nanoprobes is Islip/MacArthur airport in Islip, which is about 10 miles away. Follow the driving directions below, then follow the local directions.
From Islip/MacArthur airport: turn right onto Veterans Memorial Highway, right on Lakeland Avenue (first light), then right again onto Smithtown Avenue. When you reach it, get on the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) east.

From La Guardia airport: take the Grand Central Parkway east, then take exit 11 and get on the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) east.

From Kennedy Airport: Take the Belt Parkway east, then at Exit 25 follow the Cross Island Parkway north. At Exit 30, take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) east.

From Manhattan or points south and west: take the Queens Midtown Tunnel from Manhattan to the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) eastbound.

From New England: Take the Throgs Neck Bridge or Whitestone Bridge into Queens (there is a $ 3.50 toll). Take the Cross Island Parkway south, then Exit 30 East (Long Island Expressway, Interstate 495).

From the west (New York City): take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) east to Exit 64 (Route 112). Take Exit 64: at the end of the ramp continue straight on the service road (passing a cinema complex on the right) about 1 mile until the end of the service road where it meets Route 16 (Horse Block Road). Turn right onto Horse Block Road (Route 16) then continue straight for 1.5 miles, passing through three sets of traffic signals. The last of these crosses Route 101: continue straight across. Our building is on the left about 200 yards beyond the intersection. Enter through the glass doors at the left front corner of the building.

From the east (East End of Long Island): take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) west to exit 67: at the end of the ramp continue straight on the service road for about 1 mile. At the end where the service road joins Route 101, turn left. Continue straight for 1.5 miles. At the intersection with Route 16 (Horse Block Road) turn left. Our building is on the left, about 200 yards beyond the intersection. Enter through the glass doors at the left front corner of the building.

Nanoprobes occupies a combined office and laboratory suite which includes full chemical and biological laboratory facilities, located in suburban Long Island about 60 miles east of New York City.
